Your code

When RUNOUT generates a quiz, it checks out a shallow copy of your repository into a temporary workspace. That copy exists only for the duration of quiz generation and is deleted immediately afterwards. We never store your codebase beyond that window, and we never share it with anyone.

The LLM we use

Quiz questions are generated with Mistral as the underlying language model. During generation, relevant excerpts of your changes are sent to Mistral's API to produce questions. They are not used to train models.

What we store

We keep the minimum needed to run the product: your account details (name, email), repository metadata (names, branches, commit references), and the quizzes and answers generated for you — never a copy of your source code.

Where we host

RUNOUT runs on Railway in the EU West region (Amsterdam, the Netherlands). Your account data, repository metadata, and quizzes are stored there, inside the European Union.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't share your code or quiz content with third parties beyond the LLM call described above, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
